Resident focus: Spork

Spork is a collective of artists that investigate the relationship between food, games and art. They create game-based dinners, edible installations, immersive performance, and other   hybrid events. They also host two regular events at the Albert, Food & Games Night, a low-key evening of board games and grub, on the 3rd Sunday of every month and the Spork Food Monthly, an edible lecture & food-based performance series, on the first Sunday of every month.

For more information, check out there website: www.sporkclub.com, which has links to twitter, facebook, images of their work, and all that good stuff.

Also coming up at the Albert...

SPEAT

SPEAT is an evening for the hungry and adventurous. This interactive dinner explodes the familiar speed dating format into a series of surprising games, food and conversations. SPEAT is an edible laboratory investigating how we use food to connect and communicate—to represent identity, show affection, embody nurturing, present status, and much more. Join Spork for a delicious and one-of-a-kind dining experience that is designed to get you to open up to strangers, let go of your inhibitions, and play with your food.
Ticket includes a multi-course vegetarian meal and a free drink.

22 March // 8pm // The Albert Canteen
